To rent a car, you need:
-To be over 23 years old.
-Your driving license.
-Your passport.

What is included in a car rental?

The rental price includes:
-Unlimited mileage.
-Our assistance during the trip.
-All-risk insurance.
-Free second driver.

Are there any areas where rental cars are not allowed?

The Hirer undertakes to drive only on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic and not to use prohibited roads or cross rivers with our vehicles. In certain areas of our country, driving is prohibited for safety reasons.

Forbidden roads :

  • Kok-Ayryk pass – there is no road / error on the map
  • Col de Tonsky – the road no longer exists / error on the map
  • Col de Tosor, Col de Burkhan, Arabel – dangerous off-piste routes
  • Altyn Arashan and Karakol Gorge – suitable only for specially equipped and trained vehicles
  • Chatyr Kol – Kel-Suu road – all bridges damaged
  • Lake Kel-Suu (after the yurt camp) – the last 8 km to the lake must be covered on foot
  • Enilchek (after Maida-Adyr base camp) – no bridges over deep rivers
  • Karkara Valley (after base camp) – no bridges over deep rivers.

 

What should you bring with you to Kyrgyzstan?

In the mountains of Kyrgyzstan, all 3 seasons can be encountered, even in summer. The essentials to take with you whatever the season are:

  1. Sun protection: sunglasses, hat and sunscreen.
  2. Warm clothing: winter coat, hat, gloves to cope with variable temperatures.
  3. Rainwear: waterproof jacket and pants.
  4. Hiking equipment: hiking boots, towel, sleeping bag.
  5. Water purification: filter bottle or purification tablets.
  6. Medication for altitude sickness: provide treatment for altitude-related symptoms.
